Awana* is a program for youth 3-18 years old that focuses on learning God’s Word in a fun atmosphere. Each week, Awana provides consistent, positive teaching and training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values. Our clubbers learn about the reality of God and the truth of the Bible. Awana meets on Sunday evenings, September 25 through May 6, 2011, 5:00 pm – 6:45 pm.

Dues are currently $50 per child if enrolled by August 31 and $55 anytime after.  Walk-in’s will not be able to enroll on opening night so enroll now!

Click here for complete enrollment information and to download an Enrollment Form from the website or pick one up at church on the Kid’s Quest Information Walls. Drop completed form and dues payment in the yellow mailbox located outside of Volunteer Central, across from the MBC Café on the 2nd floor or mail back to the church at:

Kid’s Quest – Awana

P.O. Box 9300

McLean, VA 22102

Children are considered enrolled when all dues are paid, all forms are submitted, and there are enough volunteers to staff the classroom. Regular weekly Awana volunteers are guaranteed placement. Important Note: all of our volunteer Greeter positions are now filled.

All others are on a first-come, first serve basis.  Currently we are placing volunteers and their children in classes. Everyone will receive a message by September 1 regarding their enrollment.  If classes are full, children are placed on a waiting list.

Limited half-price cholarships may be available; please contact us. If you have any questions, email us at awana@mcleanbible.org.

*Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” from 2 Timothy 2:15
