Little People

Making space for new things this Christmas? Need to clear some clutter? Check out our Kid’s Quest Wish Lists to see if we can make use of your gently used items for our children’s rooms! Toys must be clean, complete, and in working condition. Please be aware of the items we can not accept (outlined below). Drop off items desired in the orange bin marked “Kid’s Quest” located under the open stairwell in the MBC Cafe on the 2nd floor.

Please DO NOT donate these items:

  • Broken toys – these will be thrown out
  • Games/puzzles with missing pieces – these will be thrown out
  • Anything with a television/movie character on it – ex. Disney, Sesame Street, Barney, etc.
  • Stuffed animals, puppets, or anything fabric-covered
  • Non-Christian books
  • Books for Kindergarten age & up
  • Bibles
  • Electronics
  • Clothing, Bibs, Burp Cloths, etc.
  • Children’s Furniture
  • Bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, etc.
  • Sports Equipment

Nursery/Toddlers Wish List:

  • Thomas the Tank Engine or Brio Wooden Trains & Tracks
  • Fisher Price Little People Sets (Doll House, Farm, Noah’s Ark, etc.)
  • Baby Doll Cribs
  • Baby Doll Strollers
  • Baby Doll Clothes

Preschool Wish List:

  • Baby Doll Clothes
  • Fisher Price Little People Sets (Farm, Car Wash, etc.  Especially need the people)
  • Small Cars (ex. Matchbox, Hot Wheels, etc.)
  • Mega Blocks or Duplos
  • Lincoln Logs
  • Play Kitchen Food & Dishes
  • Thomas the Tank Engine or Brio Wooden Trains & Tracks
  • Plastic Hot Wheels Race Tracks
  • Bible Story Books (for 3-5 year olds)
  • Large Piece Puzzles (please no puzzles with missing pieces)

Elementary Wish List:

  • Legos
  • Girl Figurines (ex. Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, etc.)
  • Hot Hoops (table-top basketball game)
  • Marbles
  • Thomas the Tank Engine or Brio Wooden Trains & Tracks
  • Small Cars (ex. Matchbox, Hot Wheels, etc.)
  • Indoor Free-Standing Basketball Hoop
  • Craft Supplies for quick projects (ex. beads, foam stickers, lacing, etc.)
  • Board Games appropriate for Kindergarten-5th Grade
  • Flat bed sheets

Options For Items We Don’t Accept:

  • The Clothing Shop, a ministry of MBC to provide clothing and household items to those in need. They accept donations for all ages.
  • Daybreak, a ministry of MBC to reach children and families in Lincoln Heights. Daybreak accepts donations of items appropriate for elementary age children.
